Five generations of traditions

Lilamand Confiserie was founded in 1866 by Marius Lilamand, a Pâtissier-Confiseur working in the heart of the town of Saint-Rémy de Provence. In 1903, Marius’ son Justin took over the business. Justin Lilamand worked exclusively with candied fruits and set up new workshops in a former leather-tanning plant on the edge of Saint-Rémy de Provence.

Today, Pierre Lilamand continues the family business in these same historical premises. Pierre Lilamand uses the same recipes Nostradamus recommended, perfected by Olivier de Serres four centuries ago. He transmits the candied fruit expertise developed over 5 generations of his family’s work.

Since March 2009, the Lilamand family has added a new confiserie workshop for making Calissons, candied fruit syrups and jams. The family’s four fundamental values – patience, meticulousness, savoir-faire and quality – pervade this new workshop too.
